What is the difference between a section insulator and a neutral section insulator?

A section insulator divides the OCS into electrical sections while the pantograph passes through energized; it works together with disconnectors to isolate a section for maintenance. A neutral section insulator separates two phases of the AC supply and uses double insulation slides with arc horns, so the pantograph can bridge the gap without a phase-to-phase short circuit.
